Many prospective students want to attend the University of Cape Coast (UCC). However, they tend to get confused as to the procedures and deadlines involved with the admission process. Let’s look at the procedures involved.
It is common knowledge that to show interest in attending a particular tertiary institution, one has to purchase application forms. The application forms (which is accessed with an e-voucher) for admission into the 2019/2020 academic year goes for Gh¢220 for Ghanaian applicants and US$120 for international students.

E-voucher Sales Points
The e-voucher can be purchased at the following :
- University of Cape Coast Cashier’s Office.
- All regional branches of Ghana Post.
- University of Cape Coast (Accra Office) at Tesano.
Procedure
The prospective student should log on to www.ucc.edu.gh and click in the admissions tab. There, you can click on the apply now. Alternatively, you can type the URL https://apply.ucc.edu.gh and follow the instructions on the page.
In the application process, the prospective student is required to write these behind the large EMS envelope
- Application Reference number
- Full name
- Postal address
- First choice program
- application category which should be one of the following: First Degree Post WASSCE, First Degree Post WASSCE – Awaiting Results, First Degree – Post ‘A’ Levels or First Degree Post WASSCE for International students (to be specified by applicant).
If application reference numbers are not written on the envelopes, they will not be processed.
Deadlines
The deadline for the purchase of the forms is Friday 9th August 2019. Whiles the deadline for the submission of completed forms is Thursday 15th August 2019.
Submission of Forms
The completed online forms have to be printed (2 copies) and added to 2 photocopies of the results slips and certificates are to be added because the the contents of the EMS envelope once sent are not returnable.
Once the application has been sent, change in program or course will not be allowed.
The printed online forms, photocopied certifications and transcripts are to be posted using EMS services and not delivered by hand. The envelope should be addressed to:
