Since people come from all over the country and the globe to be educated in Legon, there is the need for accommodation. Commonwealth Hall(Vandals) is the most popular residential facility on the University of Ghana campus. Hence, there is a mad rush for registration into its facilities almost every year. University of Ghana has released the residential fees schedule for the 2019/2020 academic year.
As usual and as expected, the Halls in ‘diaspora’ were twice as costly as the traditional Halls. All the fees quoted in the schedule are for the whole academic year and the fees for the international students are quoted in US Dollars whiles Ghanaian students are to pay in Ghana Cedis.
All Ghanaian admitted freshmen are to note that they are to pay an additional sum of Gh¢100.00 as levy for Generator. Moreover, all students at ‘diaspora’ (Dr. Hilla Limann Hall, Professor Kwapong Hall, Dr. Jean Akah Hall and Elizabeth Frances Sey Hall) are to pay their Hall fees at Cal Bank Ghana ONLY.
