2020/2021 University of Ghana Admission Requirements for College of Humanities – West African Applicants

The most populous college in Ghana – the University of Ghana as well as the one of the most popular colleges due to their enormous contribution to the human resource of Ghana and Africa is calling on all qualified applicants from the West African Sub-region to apply. The requirements for the various courses are:

COLLEGE OF HUMANITIES

School of Social Sciences/ School of Arts/ School of Languages

  • Bachelor of Arts

           Credit passes in any Three (3) Elective subjects.
           Applicants must have the following subjects to qualify to read the under listed courses:
              Economics, Mathematics or Statistics – Further Mathematics
              Computer Science – Further Mathematics
              French – French
              English – English Literature
              Geography – Geography

University of Ghana Business School – This prestigious school is for the financial brains and they offer a qualification of:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration

Entry Requirements:
           Core: Credit passes in English, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science & a Social Science subject.
           Electives: Credit passes in any Three (3) Elective subjects.

University of Ghana School of Law – The school that trains legal brains that make, administer and defend the laws of the country for sanity to prevail. They offer a:

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree

Entry Requirements:
           Core: Credit passes in English, Core Mathematics & Social Science subject.
           Electives: Credit passes in any Three (3) Elective subjects

School of Performing Arts – This school is for all the creative performers out there who want to be better at their various crafts, or those who want to go into creative performances. The degree awarded is :

  • Bachelor of Fine Arts

Entry Requirements:
           Core: Credit passes in English, Core Mathematics & a Social Science subject.
           Electives: Credit passes in any Three (3) Elective subjects

The Bachelor of Fine Arts programme is open to applicants interested in the Performing Arts with aggregate 24 or better. They will be expected to attend an audition or interview.

Level 100 admissions for the 2020/2021 academic year has 30th June, 2020 to be the deadline for application. International applicants are to note that this deadline does not apply to them.
