University of Ghana Sandwich Programme 2021 – Fees, Application Process & Deadline

University of Ghana

The 2020/2021 Sandwich Programme being run by the University of Ghana has been opened to qualifying members of the general public who wish to take advantage of this opportunity to add value to themselves by furthering their studies in their respective fields of interest.

Due to the change in the school’s academic calendar, the program will be run virtually during the inter-semester break, from April to June 2021. Fees

Provisional Fees for Ghanaians

MSc. Actuatrial Science – GH$4850.00 per semester
Other Non-Business Programmes – GH$4480.50 per semester
Business School Programmes – GH$8410.00 per semester

Provisional Fees for International Students

  • MSc. Actuarial Science
    West African Nationals – USD 2733.00 per semester
    Other African Nationals – UDS 3476.00 per semester
    Non-African Nationals – USD 4589.00 per semester
  • Business School Programmes
    West African Nationals – USD 3700.00 per semester
    Other African Nationals – USD 3700.00 per semester
    Non-African Nationals – USD 4564.00 per semester
  • Other Non-Business Programmes
    West African Nationals – USD 2424.00 per semester
    Other African Nationals – USD 3042.00 per semester
    Non-African Nationals – USD 3970.50 per semester

Entrance Examination

Dates for the Entrance Examination will be communicated for the MA Public Affairs Programme. The Examination Centre will be at the Department of Political Science.

Application Process

Ghanaian applicants can purchase the application E-vouchers for GH$200 at the following banks: Ecobank, Consolidated Bank, Zenith Bank, Universal Merchant Bank (UMB), Republic Bank, Agriculture Development Bank (Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB), and Fidelity Bank. Instructions on the e-voucher should be followed carefully during the completion of the online application form.

All applicants must upload the following documents online (Scan and attach):

  • Bachelor’s Degree Certificate
  • Official Transcript
  • Gazette or Marriage Certificate where there is a change of name.

The transcript should be scanned into one PDF or Word document and attached to the application.

All applicants who graduated from the University of Ghana from 1996 to date should indicate their “STUDENT IDENTITY NUMBER” on their forms before submission.

International applicants and Ghanaians applying from abroad should use the following links provided below to access the application form for completion and submission.

Ghanaians applying from abroad as well as international al students are to pay to the University, a USD 110.00 non-refundable application processing fee.

All foreign students are to make their payments as follows:

  • Account Name: University of Ghana Fees Collection (FOREX) – For payments in Ghana
  • Account Name: University of Ghana Fees Collection (FOREIGN) – For payments outside Ghana

  • Another option is to use University of Ghana’s secure online payment platform using Visa Card and MasterCard. The link is https://www.ug.edu.gh/ugpay

The applicant must scan the pay-in-slips and attach them together with the certificate and transcript before submission. The transcript should be scanned into one PDF or Word document and attached to the application.

Deadline
