The University of Cape Coast (UCC) – which is one of the leading Universities in Ghana has had their Students’ Financial Support office which is under the office of the Vice Chancellor calling for brilliant but needy regular or distance students to apply for the award of a scholarship for the 2020/2021 academic year.
There are a number of eligibility criteria one must fulfill before being considered for this award and they are:
- Must be a Ghanaian by birth
- Must be enrolled as a student of the University of Cape Coast on full-time regular or distance programmes.
- Must have completed at least one academic year of studies.
- Must be able to demonstrate financial need and must be ready to supply any documentary evidences for decision making.
- Must have a CGPA of 2.5 or more.

The deadline for applications is Friday, 18th September, 2020 and also it is worthy to note that only shortlisted applicants will be invited for interview. If you are not called, the it is most likely you didn’t make the cut.
