UMAT 2020 Graduation, Processes and What to Know.

The University of Mines and Technology (UMAT) has finally announced the date, venues and all relevant information of their 2020 graduation to the general public.

The graduation will be held on 19th September 2020 at 9 am. Due to the global Covid-19 pandemic, the University Council has decide that:

  1. All Postgraduate graduands who completed their programmes by August 2020.
  2. All first class graduands who completed their programmes by August 2020

All other undergraduate graduands are expected to join the graduation ceremony virtually via the zoom link which would be sent to the graduands individually.

All postgraduates and First Class undergraduates will be required ti pay a sum of 120 Ghana Cedis whiles all other undergraduate graduands are to pay a sum of 60 Ghana Cedis for the presentation of tubes, supply of graduation brochures and administrative charges. The fees should be paid into GCB Bank and Fidelity Bank accounts as listed below.

It is worthy to note that all graduands are required to register with the Academic and Student Affairs Unit after payment to studentaffairs@umat.edu.gh not later than Friday, 18 September, 2020.
